Gary Taubes, respected science journalist and author of the new book, "Why We Get Fat," will shatter some myths as to why Americans are are so fat. Gary, also author of "Good Calories, Bad Calories," will tell you about the bad nutritional science of the last century. He'll share his take on the misleading "calories-in, calories-out" model. He'll also tell you why some people are thin and others fat? And he'll discuss what foods to eat and which ones to avoid. Gary is a contributing correspondent to Science magazine, and his writing also appears in The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine and Esquire. He has received three Science in Society Journalism Awards from the National Association of Science Writers.
